AKKUR collects an email address when a visitor subscribes to its newsletter, and any information a visitor chooses to send by email. AKKUR uses the email address to deliver research and related communications and, where a paid subscription exists, to administer it. The legal basis is performance of a contract for subscribers, and consent for newsletter recipients. Consent may be withdrawn at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email. Newsletter delivery is operated by beehiiv, Inc., which processes subscriber email addresses and engagement data on AKKUR's behalf, including in the United States.
This site embeds content from third parties, each of which receives the visitor's IP address and may set cookies or similar identifiers when the content loads: TradingView Inc. (market prices, index widget and ticker), beehiiv, Inc. (subscription form), and Spotify AB and Google Ireland Limited (podcast players). AKKUR does not control what these providers collect, and their own privacy notices apply.
AKKUR does not use analytics or tracking on this website.
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes request data, including IP addresses, for delivery and security purposes as AKKUR's processor.
Subscriber email addresses are retained for as long as the subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Records relating to published investment recommendations are retained as required under Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/958.
A data subject may request access to, correction of, or erasure of their personal data, may object to or request restriction of processing, and may request portability. Requests to akkur@akkur.net. A complaint may be lodged with Persónuvernd, the Icelandic Data Protection Authority.
