About

About AKKUR

AKKUR — Greining og ráðgjöf ehf. is an independent equity research firm covering listed Icelandic companies. Research consists of initiation reports, valuation updates, quarterly result previews and result notes, distributed via Bloomberg, a subscriber newsletter and this website, alongside a regular column in Viðskiptablaðið.

Independence

Covered issuers may subscribe to AKKUR research. Where they do, they subscribe on the same terms as investor subscribers: no coverage guarantees are given, no fee is contingent on the content or conclusion of any report, and AKKUR retains full editorial discretion over what is covered and what is published. Subscription relationships with covered issuers are disclosed on the face of each report.

Method

Fair value is estimated using at least two independent methods, with the methods, weights, key assumptions and data sources documented in each report. Ratings follow mechanically from the difference between market price and estimated fair value, and measure mispricing rather than expected return.

Regulatory status

AKKUR produces investment recommendations within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 596/2014 (MAR), as implemented in Iceland by Act 60/2021, and complies with the presentation and disclosure requirements of Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/958. AKKUR does not provide investment advice, portfolio management or any other service requiring authorisation from the Financial Supervisory Authority of the Central Bank of Iceland.

Research published by AKKUR is for information purposes and does not constitute a personal recommendation. It does not take account of the individual circumstances, objectives or financial situation of any recipient.
