Subscription terms

Akkur – Greining og ráðgjöf ehf., kt. 480107-0710, VAT no. 94007, Reykjavík, Iceland ("AKKUR"), akkur@akkur.net. These terms apply to individual subscriptions requested through this website. Corporate, institutional and multi-reader subscriptions are agreed separately by email.

1. What the subscription includes

Every research note AKKUR publishes while the subscription is active, sent by email when it is first released: initiation reports, valuation updates, result previews and result notes. AKKUR decides what it publishes and when, and does not promise a number of notes in any period.

2. Plans and price

Monthly: ISK 5.000 a month. Annual: ISK 50.000 a year. Prices include VAT. The price is the one shown on the subscription page when you subscribe.

3. Start and right of withdrawal

The subscription starts on the day AKKUR confirms it to you by email; the confirmation carries your first invoice, and research is sent from that day. You may withdraw within 14 days of that confirmation without giving a reason, by emailing akkur@akkur.net. Because the service starts at once at your request, you then pay only for the days before you withdrew, and anything paid beyond that is refunded within 14 days.

4. Invoices and payment

Each invoice is sent by email and a claim is created in your online bank; no card payment is taken. Monthly: an invoice on the day the subscription started and then on the same day of each following month (a subscription started on 2 October is invoiced on 2 November, 2 December and so on); where a month has no such day, on its last day (a subscription started on 31 January is invoiced on 28 or 29 February). Each monthly invoice is due 7 days after it is sent. Annual: an invoice on the day the subscription started and then every 12 months from that day, each due 30 days after it is sent.

5. Renewal

The monthly plan renews each month and the annual plan each year until you cancel. The renewal is the next invoice, sent by email on the dates in section 4. An annual renewal can be cancelled until its invoice is due, at no cost (section 6).

6. Cancelling

Email akkur@akkur.net at any time; AKKUR confirms by email. Monthly: the subscription ends at the end of the month already invoiced, and no further invoice is sent. Annual: the subscription ends at the end of the paid year and does not renew. A renewal invoice may be cancelled at any time before its due date, 30 days after it is sent: the invoice and its claim are then withdrawn, nothing is owed for the new year, and the subscription ends on the day you cancel. Once a year has been paid and the 14 days in section 3 have passed, the remainder of that year is not refunded. You may move from monthly to annual at any time, and from annual to monthly at the renewal date.

7. Late payment

An invoice unpaid at its due date bears default interest (dráttarvextir) under Act No. 38/2001 on Interest and Indexation from the due date until paid. If an invoice is still unpaid 14 days after its due date, AKKUR may pause the subscription after an email reminder, and resumes it when the invoice is paid.

8. Price changes

AKKUR announces a new price by email at least 30 days before it applies to you, and it applies from your next monthly or annual invoice. You may cancel before then.

9. Personal use

The research is for your own use. You may not forward, copy, publish or share it, in whole or in part, except for quotation with attribution as Icelandic copyright law allows. Notes AKKUR later makes public may be shared like any public note.

10. Not personal advice

The research is general investment research. It does not take your circumstances into account and is not a personal recommendation. The disclosures on this website apply to every note.

11. If AKKUR ends the subscription

AKKUR may end a subscription on 30 days' notice by email, or at once if these terms are materially breached, for example by passing research on. Except in the case of a breach, any amount paid for the time after the end is refunded.

12. Personal data

AKKUR uses your name, kennitala and email address to run and invoice the subscription, as the privacy notice describes.

13. Changes to these terms

AKKUR announces changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. A change that is to your disadvantage applies from your next invoice, and you may cancel before then.

14. Law and complaints

Icelandic law applies. Contact akkur@akkur.net first. A consumer may also refer a dispute to Kærunefnd vöru- og þjónustukaupa (the Consumer Complaints Board). Other disputes go before Héraðsdómur Reykjavíkur.

These terms apply from 23 December 2025.
